Aaron St. George, ICADC, QSUDP – Executive Director –

Aaron is the Owner and Executive Director of Serenity Wellness, LLC. He started his academic career at Treasure Valley Community College where he now teaches the addiction studies program helping mold the minds, techniques, and ethics of new professionals in the field of addiction treatment. He completed his undergrad degree at University of Idaho where he immersed himself in Psychology to better understand human behavior graduating in 2016, with special recognition on the Dean’s List and as a Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society Student with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology (B.S.) and minors in Addictions Studies, Communications, and English Writing. He then went on to pursue a graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Human Services. Aaron currently holds an International Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC) through the Idaho Board of Alcohol/Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC), a Certification in Early Childhood Education Early Intervention through Career Pathways, a Certification as a Compassion Fatigue Therapist from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), a Certification in Critical Incident Group Crisis Intervention from the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF), and a Certification as a Global Appraisal of Individual Needs Evaluator from Chestnut Health Systems (CHS).

Aaron is a native Idahoan who grew up in Caldwell. He has three amazing children, one step-child, and two adopted children whom he loves spending time with and having fun adventures with. Aaron is also a breeder, trainer, and dog dad to his crew of St. Berdoodles that enjoy coming to work with him everyday and working with clients as registered therapy dogs. He loves the outdoors, soccer, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends. Aaron is passionate for and dedicated to his work with the addicted and co-occurring population to whom he has been providing services for more than a decade in Region 3. He, and his team at Serenity Wellness, LLC, are dedicated to finding, researching, utilizing, and creating new Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) in treatment to ensure better and longer lasting outcomes for clients. His modo is, “I will never leave any stone unturned when it comes to empowering clients to make the desired changes in their lives. Serenity Wellness is the Home Depot of Treatment Centers. We provide you the tools to build your new house of recovery, but it is our amazing clients who do all the work building the house. It is for this reason that we can not take credit for the positive outcomes we see everyday in our clients. That is all them.”
